Program Overview
The Ph.D. in Business Management at Istanbul Aydın University is a full-time, English-medium doctoral program designed to develop advanced research and analytical skills in the field of business. For master’s degree holders, the program spans three academic years (six semesters) and requires the completion of 180 ECTS credits, including 60 ECTS of coursework and 120 ECTS of thesis work. For bachelor’s degree holders, the program extends over four academic years (eight semesters), requiring 240 ECTS credits, with 120 ECTS dedicated to coursework and 120 ECTS to thesis work. In this track, students are expected to complete at least 14 courses totaling 42 local credits. The curriculum encompasses a broad spectrum of subjects, including strategic management, organizational behavior, marketing, finance, and international business, aiming to equip students with the competencies required to conduct independent research and contribute to the advancement of business knowledge.
